Everything you need to know for your visit
St. Anthony the Great Orthodox Christian Church is a Pan-Orthodox Church that continues the same religious traditions and teachings of the Apostles as learned from Jesus Christ - love God and love your neighbor.
St. Anthony the Great began as an outreach program in 1982 extending from our mother parish, St. George who wanted to establish an Orthodox Christian Church in the Northwest Houston area. Initial meetings were held in a subdivision clubhouse and homes until a temporary place of worship was established in a shopping center suite on FM 1960. Worship then moved to a small property in 1987 after land was purchased by parishioners. In April of 2011, St. Anthony the Great moved to its current location and continues to seek ways to connect with the surrounding community.
We invite you to come and see who we are and have food and fun at our 1st Annual International Food Festival.
Our International Food Festival is a joyful community celebration with delicious cuisine, warm hospitality, and fun for all ages. Come experience the rich flavors and traditions shared by our parish family while supporting the ongoing ministries of St. Anthony the Great.
Whether you are visiting for your favorite dish, exploring something new, or simply spending time with friends and family, this festival is a beautiful way to connect with the community and enjoy a weekend full of culture, faith, and fellowship.
